This panorama, taken by James Blakeway, captures the Baylor Bears football team playing its inaugural game at the new McLane Stadium, ending the evening with a 45-0 victory over SMU. The Bears’ home opener was completely sold out in record time, as fans hurried to witness Baylor’s first on-campus football game since 1935. Built on a 93-acre site along the Brazos River, the new stadium also serves as a catalyst for business activity and economic development for the City of Waco. Around the site there are tailgating opportunities, as well as an option to take tailgating to the water in the most unique fashion, as fans are now able to boat to Baylor games. The new facility seats 45,145 fans with future expansion possible to 55,000. Panoramics are 13.5"x40". When framed, about 2-3 inches are added to each side. Allow 1-3 business days handling time.
