The opponent for the Eagles on this historic day on September 18, 2010, was its Big Sky Conference rival, the University of Montana Grizzlies. The Eagles broke a 27-all tie with a field goal with four seconds remaining, then iced the victory on the final play of the game with a 34-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
